Shipping from China to FBA does not end when customs clears. The forwarder still needs to deliver to the right Amazon facility under the correct shipment plan, carton labels, appointment process, and carrier requirements. If delivery fails, storage and redelivery fees can start building.
Buyers should ask whether the failure was caused by label mismatch, appointment problem, carrier issue, warehouse refusal, missing documents, or wrong shipment plan details.
Ask for the delivery failure reason
Do not accept only “Amazon refused delivery”. Ask for the carrier note, appointment status, FBA shipment ID, carton label evidence, delivery address, and next delivery plan.
For direct-to-FBA prep, read the direct from China to Amazon FBA checklist. DDPexpert’s freight forwarding from China guide is a useful deep link for logistics comparison.
Questions for the forwarder
- Was the appointment booked and accepted?
- Did carton labels match the active shipment plan?
- Were carton count and pallet data correct?
- What fee is storage, redelivery, or carrier service?
- Who is responsible under the original quote?
Check labels before pickup next time
Many delivery problems begin at the factory: wrong carton label, wrong dimensions, mismatched shipment ID, or incomplete packing list. Buyers should verify these before cargo leaves China.
For carton data, use the FBA carton weight checklist. DDPexpert’s pre-shipment inspection guide helps connect labels and cartons to inspection.
Final recommendation
If FBA delivery appointment fails, ask for written evidence of the reason and cost responsibility. Then fix labels, carton data, and appointment requirements before the next pickup.
