FBA shipments from China need an evidence file before pickup. If labels, carton data, importer of record, customs documents, tracking, or delivery proof are missing, the seller may struggle to resolve delays or warehouse issues later.
Use this checklist before approving the forwarder pickup.
Product and carton evidence
- Product matches approved sample.
- FNSKU and carton labels are correct.
- Carton count, dimensions, gross weight, and quantity per carton are recorded.
- Photos show labels on real cartons.
For warehouse delivery data, read what to give a forwarder when they ask for Amazon warehouse contact info. DDPexpert’s China freight forwarder guide helps compare shipping partners.
Customs and delivery evidence
- Commercial invoice and packing list.
- Importer of record and broker responsibility.
- DDP, DAP, FOB, or EXW term.
- Tracking numbers and pickup proof.
- Delivery appointment or final delivery proof.
Before pickup
Make sure the supplier, forwarder, and seller are using the same carton data and shipment plan. If a DDP shipment is later returned or refused, this evidence file will matter.
For returned shipment risk, use the DDP returned shipment checklist. DDPexpert’s pre-shipment inspection guide supports the quality side.
Final recommendation
Before China goods go to FBA, save labels, carton data, IOR details, customs documents, tracking, and delivery proof in one file. It makes later disputes much easier to manage.
